‘Mindy Project’ & ‘Ben and Kate’ get full seasons

Fox has picked up full seasons of new Tuesday sitcoms “Ben and Kate” and “The Mindy Project.”

Nine more episodes of “The Mindy Project,” starring Mindy Kaling, have been ordered, along with six additional episodes of “Ben and Kate,” starring Nat Faxon and Dakota Johnson.

“‘Ben and Kate’ and ‘The Mindy Project’ have everything we want to stand for in comedy: smart writing, hugely appealing casts and comedy that feels contemporary and real,” Fox Chairman of Entertainment Kevin Reilly said.
