The man in the White House doesn’t travel light.
A new Travel Channel doc, airing next Tuesday and called “Travel Like a President,” aims to fill in exactly what it takes to roll like POTUS.
Hosted by NBC News correspondent Peter Alexander, the special takes a hard look at traveling with what could easily be the world’s biggest entourage.
Like most modern Presidents, Barack Obama’s group typically requires as many as 200 hotel rooms, two jumbo 747s, two passenger jets, five helicopters, 35 motorcade vehicles, charter flights for the press and hundreds of people.
