Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins is going from TLC, the R&B group, to TLC, the network. The singer will star in a docu-series about her return to music.
TLC has ordered four episodes of the show, which has a working title of “Totally T-Boz,” and will premiere in early 2013.
It’ll follow Watkins as she returns to L.A. from the Atlanta suburbs as a single mother, after surviving a life-threatening brain tumor. The show also will feature Watkins’ daughter Chase and other family members.
