The first trailer for Paranormal Activity 4 fittingly premiered at midnight PST and takes us deeper into the new world filmmakers promised us with the Paranormal Activity 4 teaser that debuted earlier this week. This is a much more of a deeper mystery than Movie Fanatic ever imagined. As an enormous fan of the entire series, the possibility that this fourth film will “connect” so efficiently with the first three is chills-producing.
We put connect in quotes because of the franchise's means of utilizing the video technology of the time to dictate the found footage inducing fears. Early VHS tape quality played perfectly into Paranormal Activity 3's action. Featured all over the first trailer from Paranormal Activity 4 is a Kinect! It is safe to say anyone that owns one will never look at the device the same way again.
Paranormal Activity 4 lands in theaters October 19, helmed by Paranormal Activity 3 directors Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman.
