Jeff Morrow and his hooded poncho have been blown away by The Weather Channel.
Morrow’s departure, after 27 years as one of the channel’s most recognizable field and in-studio reporters, was announced Wednesday in an email to staff.
“We appreciate the many years of forecasting and live field coverage Jeff has delivered as part of the best weather provider in the country,” vice president of live programming Helen Swenson wrote. “I hope you join us in thanking Jeff for his many contributions and wish him the best in his future.”
