Golden Globe winner Tina Fey (30 Rock) and Golden Globe nominee Amy Poehler (Parks and Recreation) have signed to host NBCs exclusive coverage of The 70th Annual Golden Globe Awards that will be broadcast live coast-to-coast on Sunday, January 13 from 5-8 p.m. (PT) and 8-11 p.m. (ET) from the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills.

The announcement was made today by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association president Dr. Aida Takla-OReilly, Dick Clark productions and NBC.

Having both Tina Fey and Amy Poehler on board to host this years festivities is a major coup, said Paul Telegdy, President, Alternative and Late Night Programming, NBC Entertainment. Tina and Amy have a proven chemistry and comedic timing from their many years together on 'SNL' to their successful co-starring roles in 'Baby Mama.'

The unparalleled comedic timing of Tina and Amy will surely have viewers wanting to tune-in to see them in action, said Takla-O'Reilly. The HFPA is thrilled to have the magnetic duo be a part of the shows 70th anniversary!

Last January, "The 69th Annual Golden Globe Awards" delivered NBCs highest 18-49 rating (a 5.0) and biggest overall audience (16.9 million) in the time period, excluding sports, since the prior years Golden Globes telecast. It was also the highest 18-49 and total-viewer figures for ABC, CBS, NBC or Fox in the time period, excluding sports, in more than 10 months, since the prior years Academy Awards on ABC. The telecast improved on NBCs time-period average during the prior season by 138 percent in 18-49 rating (5.0 vs. 2.1, live plus same day non-sports) and 163 percent in total viewers (16.9 million vs. 6.4 million).
