Food Network’s Guy Fieri sizzles on the appearance circuit at $100K a gig

Guy Fieri, the “celebrity chef” who has become the face of the Food Network, is paid $100,000 for personal appearances, according to the website The Smoking Gun.

Fieri, 44, hosts the show “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives,” a show that celebrates restaurants which serve artery-clogging dishes and deep-fried goodness.

In August, Fieri was paid $100,000 for a 60-minute appearance at the New York State Fair in late August, according to contract documents.

In comparison, his competitor Buddy Valastro, star of TLC’s “Cake Boss,” snags a paltry $65,000 for his gigs.

FOX 5 “Good Day New York” co-anchor Rosanna Scotto co-hosts “Anderson Live” Friday. She even shows off some moves on the syndicated show, airing at noon on Fox Ch. 5 in New York.

“I had so much fun co-hosting with Anderson,” Scotto tells the News.

“His energy and the liveliness of the audience were contagious. He even duped me into dancing during the warmup of the show — I had no idea he was going to use it on-air. Wait till he’s back on ‘Good Day New York’ and I get my payback!”
